Zest Education are looking for an enthusiastic, energetic, and engaging PE teacher to join a secondary school that we closely work with in Wednesbury.

The schools PE department aim to contribute the overall education of young people by helping them lead full and active lives through engaging in purposeful physical activity and sport.

 

They have a broad curriculum that provides students with an ample opportunity to experience a variety of activities. These activities are not only competition but also recreational sports.

 

If you have a passion for sport and have had previous experience teaching PE within a secondary school, then this could be the role for you.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • A strong passion for the subject of PE and able to teach the curriculum from KS3-KS5
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management

 

This role is a temporary part-time contract which will start in September 2022.

 

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

 

Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
