Zest are recruiting for a play worker to work in wrap around care at a primary school just outside of Lichfield.
This role is to start asap and will finish at the end of the academic year and the school need someone who can work 7.15am to 9am Monday to Friday.
As a Play Worker you will help to plan and lead a range of suitable activities for children aged between 3 and 11 years old. You will need to be reliable and committed to supporting the needs of all individuals within the club and be able to help provide a secure and caring environment in which they can flourish.
The school is a part of a big Multi Academy Trust that believes in the power of education to improve lives. The school are seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and reliable Play Worker to join the wrap around care team supporting the early years provision.
A successful candidate will possess:
• Enthusiasm, passion, and a nurturing approach to working with children
• Reliability and be flexible (to cover other shifts on occasion)
• Experience of working with children in a similar role would be ideal but not essential

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
