Zest education is working with a primary school in Alum rock who is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) Teacher to join the team and inspire our students.
Position: PPA Teacher
Location: Alum Rock, Birmingham
Start Date: Immediate
Responsibilities:
– Deliver high-quality lessons in the absence of class teachers, ensuring continuity in students’ learning.
– Collaborate with colleagues to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
– Assess students’ progress and provide feedback to support their development.
– Maintain a positive learning environment in line with the school’s values and policies.
– Participate in school events and extracurricular activities as required.
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent.
– Proven experience in delivering lessons to primary school students.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
– Up-to-date knowledge of the national curriculum.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
