PPA Cover Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is currently recruiting a qualified PPA Cover Teacher to work in a Year 3 class at a welcoming primary school. This role is for Thursday afternoons only, continuing until the end of the academic year, making it ideal for teachers seeking consistent, part-time work.

The Role

As a PPA Cover Teacher, you will:

  • Provide high-quality cover in a Year 3 classroom

  • Deliver pre-planned lessons confidently and effectively

  • Maintain positive behaviour management and classroom routines

  • Ensure pupils remain engaged and supported during lessons

Requirements

To be considered for this PPA Cover Teacher role, you must:

  • Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Have experience teaching in Key Stage 2, ideally Year 3

  • Be confident delivering pre-planned lessons

  • Demonstrate strong classroom management skills

  • Be reliable and committed to working Thursday afternoons until the end of the academic year
