📚 Primary PPA Teacher – Burntwood – Full Time – October Start 📚
Are you a passionate and dedicated primary teacher looking for a rewarding new role in a supportive school setting? We’re seeking a talented PPA (Planning, Preparation and Assessment) Cover Teacher to join a welcoming and well-established 2-form entry primary school in Burntwood, starting after Christmas.
Position: Primary PPA Cover Teacher
Location: Burntwood, Staffordshire
Start Date: After Christmas
Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm
Contract: Ongoing (with potential for long-term or permanent role)
You will be covering PPA across all year groups (Reception to Year 6), delivering engaging and pre-planned lessons while supporting a range of learners. As a 2-form entry school, you’ll work closely with parallel teachers and benefit from a collaborative and supportive environment.
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – UK recognised teaching qualification
Experience teaching in UK primary schools (EYFS, KS1 and/or KS2)
Confident in managing a classroom and delivering varied curriculum subjects
Adaptable, organised and able to build positive relationships with pupils and staff
A commitment to maintaining high standards of teaching and learning
Friendly, welcoming team and supportive senior leadership
Well-resourced classrooms and strong staff collaboration
Clear routines and behaviour policies to support consistency
