Zest are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic PPA (Planning, Preparation, and Assessment) teacher to join the team at a reputable primary school in Erdington to start in January 2025.
As a PPA teacher, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality lessons across various year groups, covering for teachers during their PPA time. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the primary curriculum, excellent classroom management skills, and the ability to engage and inspire students.
Key responsibilities include planning and delivering lessons in line with the school’s policies, assessing student progress, and providing constructive feedback to support their development. The successful candidate will be a team player, have excellent communication skills, and a genuine passion for education.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
