PPA Teacher

We are currently seeking a PPA Teacher to join a school in Solihull on a part-time basis, working 3 days a week. This role is due to start in April 2025 and is ongoing, giving you the opportunity to build positive relationships with the school. As a PPA Teacher at this school, you will play a crucial role in providing support to children throughout the school.

This school are aims to create and environment that is calm and purposeful, however also ambitious in terms of academic standards. They provide experiences and extra-curricular activities to ensure that all pupils reach their full potential.

Roles & responsibilities:

• Teach lessons based on the absent teacher’s plans.
• Prepare lessons and teaching materials.
• Mark work and assess student progress.
• Ensure school’s policies and procedures are followed.
• Ensure students develop socially and academically.

Requirements:

• Hold a Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Possess a deep understanding of the national curriculum.
• Have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Relevant experience working in an education-based setting.
• Own an enhanced DBS or be willing to obtain one.
