PPA Teacher, Erdington.

Zest Education is working alongside a Primary school on the outskirts of Erdington that require a full time and part time PPA Teacher covering a range of year groups.

The school is ‘Good’ Ofsted rated and has been for some time, the school is well established within the local community and has that at the core values of its approach. Providing a safe and positive learning environment is essential for the pupils and the school endeavours to make sure that all the needs are catered for.

Communication is vital as the successful candidate will be working alongside the other teachers across the school to ensure that the lessons are delivered to a high standard. The candidate will also have to demonstrate a good understanding and application of differing behaviour management strategies due to teaching various year groups. Although planning will be provided, good knowledge of the KS1 + KS2 curriculum would be advantageous to ensure the children are still being productive during their PPA time.

Both NQT’s and experienced teachers will be considered for this role but teachers with wide ranging experience will be at an advantage. The successful candidate will be given full support through the transition period into this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
