Job Description

Part-Time PPA Teacher (EYFS & KS1) – Moseley Area

Days: Wednesdays & Fridays (0.4 Contract)
Start Date: As soon as possible
Contract: Long-term

Are you an enthusiastic and dedicated teacher looking for a part-time role in a warm and inclusive school environment? A thriving infants school in Moseley is seeking a passionate PPA Teacher to cover EYFS and KS1 classes two days per week.

This is a fantastic long-term opportunity to join a supportive team and make a meaningful impact across the early years and key stage 1. The role is ideal for a teacher who enjoys variety, values collaboration, and can confidently deliver engaging lessons across multiple year groups.

About the Role:

  • Deliver high-quality, pre-planned lessons across EYFS and KS1

  • Work every Wednesday and Friday, supporting class teachers by covering PPA time

  • Build strong professional relationships with staff and pupils across year groups

  • Ensure continuity of learning while maintaining a calm and positive classroom environment

What We’re Looking For:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

  • Experience in EYFS and/or KS1

  • Strong classroom presence with excellent communication skills

  • A flexible, resilient, and approachable attitude

  • A commitment to supporting all learners, including those with EAL
