PPA Teacher

Job Description

PPA Teacher, Birmingham.

Zest Education exclusively working with a Primary school on the outskirts Birmingham. The role that is available is for 2 day a week PPA Teacher to start in September 2023 for the full academic year.

The school provides excellent learning development centres with sensory rooms and time-out areas. The school also has some specially designed areas for children who struggle with the distractions of a ‘normal’ classroom. The goal of this development is to create an encompassing environment for all academic abilities. The school has changed the way that they approach working in small groups and need a PPA Teacher to cover partially full classrooms.

All planning will be provided by the main class teacher, so it is important that the successful candidate has good understanding of across year curriculum. Good communication is also important, and the class teacher will rely heavily on feedback during their PPA time.

Both newly qualified teachers and experienced teachers will be considered for this role.  Teachers with a wide experience of years will be in an advantageous position. Support will be given to the successful candidate to ensure a smooth transition.
