Zest Education is delighted to be partnering with a brilliant school in Handsworth, renowned for its commitment to excellence in education. They are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic full-time PPA Teacher to join their strong team in February 2024.

The busy ofsted rated ‘good’ school is at the heart of a caring community. The school has a variety of resources available across the school which allows all children to recruit an exciting curriculum.

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons to students from diverse backgrounds across the entire school. Whether it be English, math, science, or any other subject, your creativity and adaptability will be key to ensuring a smooth learning experience for the students.

All planning for this role will be provided. This means you can focus on delivering high-quality lessons and providing valuable support to the school community. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with experienced teaching assistant who will be there to support you throughout the day.

As a PPA Teacher, you will also be responsible for marking students’ work at the end of the day. This crucial task ensures that students receive the feedback they need to progress academically. You must also have experience with managing challenging behaviour.

The pay for this from will start from £140 per day.

The school are advising both experience teachers and ECT’s to apply for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
