Primary Cross Year Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Cross Year Teaching Assistant to join a wonderful school in Cradley Heath. This full-time position will commence in December 2024 and offers an exciting opportunity to work across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This role requires the successful candidate to work Monday to Thursday across this period.

Key Responsibilities of this position include:
– Support classroom teachers in delivering high-quality education across multiple year groups.
– Assist in the planning and preparation of lessons, ensuring that resources are readily available.
– Provide one-on-one support to students who require additional assistance in their learning.
– Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting the social and emotional development of students.
– Aid in the assessment and tracking of students’ progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.

To be successful within this position you must:
– Previous experience working in a school or educational setting is highly desirable.
– A broad knowledge of the curriculum across EYFS, KS1, and KS2.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
– Patience, empathy, and the ability to build positive relationships with students.
– Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay will begin from £77.00 per day and will depend on references and experiences

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
