Primary School Teaching Assistant

Job Description

Zest Education, in collaboration with a primary school in Lichfield, is currently seeking a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to enhance their educational team. This full-time position entails working five days a week starting after the May half-term week and will continue on an ongoing basis. The ideal candidate for this role should possess a genuine passion for supporting young learners and helping them reach their full potential, the school are looking for a candidate who is willing to work across EYFS all the way through to Key stage 2.

All children may make good progress at their own speed because to the well-designed, engaging, and wide curriculum, which takes into account their varied needs and abilities and prepares them for life after primary school. In order to enhance their work and ensure that students are consistently inspired and challenged, school staff members participate in carefully selected ongoing professional development.

Teaching Assistant Requirements:
– Relevant experience working with primary school students
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with teachers and staff
– Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection procedures

The successful candidate in this role must:
– Be able to Support classroom activities and assisting with lesson preparation
– Providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs
– Encouraging a positive learning environment
– Assisting with administrative tasks as required

Pay will begin from £76.92 and will depend on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
