Job Description

Zest Education is currently collaborating with a prestigious school in Telford, and they are in search of a dedicated Primary School Teaching Assistant to complement their team. This full-time position, scheduled from Monday to Friday starting from September 2024 until at least December 2024, offers a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the development and education of students from Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) through to Key Stage 2.

Located in the heart of Telford, this primary school serves as a cornerstone of the local community, providing quality education to young minds. The school’s vibrant atmosphere is filled with the laughter and chatter of eager students bustling through the hallways. With a dedicated team of teachers and staff, the primary school in Telford focuses on nurturing each child’s unique talents and abilities.

To be successful in the role you should:
– Relevant qualifications in education or child development
– Experience working with children in a school setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills

The successful candidate will be expected too:
– Supporting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
– Assisting individual students with their learning needs
– Supervising students during break times and outings
– Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment

Pay will begin from £76.92 per day and will depend on experience and references.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
