Your Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons that inspire and challenge KS1 pupils
  • Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment where every child can succeed
  • Monitor, assess, and record pupil progress, ensuring all learners reach their potential
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver a broad, balanced curriculum
  • Support children’s emotional and social development through positive relationships and consistent guidance
  • Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and achievement
  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers to celebrate progress and address challenges
  • Participate in school events, enrichment activities, and professional development opportunities

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Proven experience teaching within Key Stage 1
  • Strong understanding of the KS1 curriculum and assessment framework
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A nurturing, enthusiastic, and adaptable teaching style
  • A passion for inspiring young learners and fostering a love of learning
