EYFS & KS1 Primary Teacher Responsibilities

As a Primary Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging EYFS and KS1 lessons
  • Support children’s learning, development, and confidence
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Assess and track pupil progress in line with the national curriculum
  • Work closely with parents, carers, and school staff
  • Encourage creativity, independence, and strong early learning foundations

Requirements for This Primary Teacher Role

To apply for this EYFS & KS1 teaching position, you should have:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
  • Experience teaching in EYFS and/or Key Stage 1
  • Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework and KS1 curriculum
  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills
  • A caring, proactive, and child-centred approach to teaching
