Are you passionate about supporting young learners in their educational journey? Do you have experience working with primary school children and want to make a difference in their lives? Zest Education is looking for a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Tamworth.
As a Teaching Assistant in this 2 form entry school, you will have the opportunity to work closely with students, teachers, and parents to provide valuable support and guidance. This role offers a great chance for professional development and growth, with the school committed to helping you enhance your skills and knowledge.
You will be joining a dynamic and inclusive learning environment where every child is supported to achieve their full potential. The school have a strong commitment to ensuring that all children succeed, and the dedicated staff work tirelessly to provide the support and guidance needed for each individual student. The school offers a wide range of opportunities for school trips, extracurricular activities, and valuable experiences that not only enrich the curriculum but also help in building strong rapport with the children.
This is a part-time position, working 3 days a week, and is available for an immediate start. If you are enthusiastic, caring, and committed to making a positive impact in the lives of young children, we want to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting students in their learning and development
– Assisting teachers with classroom activities and planning
– Providing one-on-one support to students who need additional help
– Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
– Experience working with primary school children
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work well in a team
– Relevant qualifications in education or child care (desirable)

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
