Zest Education are looking to recruit a Primary Teaching Assistant at a 2 form entry Primary school in Stoke on Trent. This part time role of .6, 3 days a week is great for someone looking for a more flexible work life balance. Set to start January 2025 the school are looking for someone for a minimum of one term but this may be extended to the end of the school year.
The schools latest OFSTED remained as good in the most recent inspection, students thrive in the environment staff have created leading to happy, safe and cared for pupils. The ideal candidate will brace the school motto with a focus on discovering and exploring students dreams. A commitment to keeping students safe and helping them achieve is vital in this role.
Responsibilities:
– Supporting the class teacher in delivering lessons
– Providing one-on-one support to students who require additional help
– Assisting with classroom management and behaviour
– Helping to create a safe and stimulating learning environment for all students
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with primary-age children
– A genuine passion for education and helping young learners succeed
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team
– A relevant qualification relating to Teaching Assistant or in childcare is desirable

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
