Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Alum Rock. This flexible role offers the chance to work across both Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supporting pupils in their learning and development.

Teaching Assistant – KS1 & KS2
📍 Location: Alum Rock, Birmingham
🕒 Hours: 8:30am – 3:30pm (Part-time or Full-time, flexible)
📅 Start Date: ASAP

About the Role:

  • Assisting teachers in delivering engaging lessons.

  • Supporting pupils in both KS1 and KS2, individually and in small groups.

  • Helping prepare resources and classroom activities.

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and creating a nurturing learning environment.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous experience in a primary school setting – essential.

  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (preferred).

  • Flexibility to work across different year groups.

  • Strong communication skills and a caring, supportive approach.
