Are you passionate about working with young children and supporting their educational development? We have an exciting opportunity for a Primary Teaching Assistant at a reputable school located in Swadlincote.
The school are dedicated to providing a nurturing and stimulating environment that encourages academic achievement and personal growth. As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality education to our students.
Responsibilities:
– Assist the teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons
– Provide individual and group support to students who require additional assistance
– Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment
– Support students with their learning activities and encourage independent thinking
– Assist with classroom management and behaviour management strategies
– Provide feedback to the teacher regarding student progress and behaviour
– Collaborate with teaching staff and parents to ensure the best possible learning outcomes for students
Requirements:
– Hold a Level 2 qualification in Education or relevant field
– Experience working with primary school-aged children is desirable
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Passionate about education and supporting student development
– Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
