Zest Education is currently recruiting a qualified Early Years Teaching Assistant to support the Early Years team at a welcoming primary school in Lichfield. This is a mornings-only role, starting ASAP, and is ideal for someone passionate about supporting young children at the start of their learning journey.
The role will involve small group work, supporting early development, communication, and learning through play.
As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will:
Support children in Early Years / EYFS settings
Deliver small group interventions and targeted support
Assist with learning through play and structured activities
Support children’s social, emotional, and communication development
Work closely with the Early Years team to meet individual learning needs
Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and engaging learning environment
We are looking for someone who:
Holds a relevant Early Years qualification (Level 2 or Level 3 or equivalent)
Has experience working within EYFS in a school or nursery setting
Is confident delivering small group support
Has a nurturing, patient, and positive approach
Works well as part of a team and communicates effectively
Is available for morning-only hours
