Zest Education are proud to be working closely with a secondary school in the Kingstanding area seeking to appoint an outstanding, dynamic and innovate teacher of RE for September 2022. This is a full time role for one academic year.

An aspiring school with highly supportive staff committed to providing the best education possible for their students. The school have a vision in which staff work hard, spend a manageable amount of time on the activities that make a difference to pupil lives and do this in a positive working environment. To show their commitment to this vision the Headteacher has a specific staff wellbeing performance management target.

The RE department strive for educational excellence whilst allowing their students to move forward in their faith journey.


The successful candidate will have

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • Knowledge and experience of teaching RE across KS3 and KS4
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management


Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.


Rate of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
