Zest Education is currently recruiting for a dedicated and dynamic Reception class teacher to join a wonderful school in the Moseley area of south Birmingham. This exciting opportunity involves working in a reception class on a long-term basis starting from February 2025. The ideal candidate will be required to work part-time, 3 days a week (0.6), across two different reception/EYFS classes to cover PPA and leadership time.
The successful candidate must possess a passion for early years education, be engaging with young learners, and have an approachable teaching style. Adaptability is key as the working days may vary to accommodate the school’s needs. The Head is looking for an enthusiastic individual who can contribute positively to the school environment and work collaboratively with the existing team.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
