🌟 Reception Teacher (EYFS) – Full Time – Kings Norton 🌟

Start Date: September | Pay: MPS (M2–M6+) | Minimum 2 Terms (Autumn & Spring 26/27)

Are you an experienced EYFS teacher looking for a rewarding new role in a supportive and well-regarded primary school? We are seeking a creative, engaging and dedicated Reception Teacher to join a popular community-focused school in Kings Norton this September.

📚 The Role

This is a full-time Reception class teaching position with full classroom responsibility, offering a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact during the critical early years of a child’s education.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality EYFS teaching and learning
  • Planning and delivering engaging, creative lessons in line with EYFS framework
  • Managing full class responsibilities, including assessment and reporting
  • Attending parents’ evenings and contributing to school life
  • Supporting or leading extra-curricular activities
  • Working collaboratively as part of a team-planning environment

We are looking for a teacher who:

  • Has strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Is ideally an experienced teacher (M2–M6 or above)
  • Is creative, enthusiastic and engaging in the classroom
  • Demonstrates diligence, care and professionalism
  • Is a team player who thrives in a collaborative setting
  • Builds positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues
