Are you passionate about early childhood education? Do you have experience working with young children in a school setting? Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic EYFS Teacher to join a team at a brilliant primary school in Shard End. The role is to start as soon as possible and will continue on a long-term basis.

The three-form entry primary school is a sought-after school in the local area who offers a high-quality education to all pupils catering for all needs. The vibrant school encourage all pupils to be creative within lessons and extracurricular activities.

As a Reception Teacher, you will play a vital role in shaping the minds of our youngest learners. Your responsibilities will include creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for children aged 4-5 years old, planning and delivering age-appropriate lessons and activities, and tracking each child’s progress and development.

Key Responsibilities:

– Create a safe and inclusive learning environment where children can thrive

– Plan and deliver engaging lessons and activities that promote learning and development

– Foster positive relationships with parents and communicate regularly on their child’s progress

– Monitor and assess each child’s progress and provide constructive feedback

– Collaborate with other teachers and staff members to create a cohesive learning community

– Stay up to date with the latest educational practices and participate in professional development opportunities


– Relevant teaching qualification or degree in Early Childhood Education

– Prior experience working with nursery-age children in a school or similar setting

– Strong knowledge of the early year’s curriculum and educational best practices

– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

– Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with young children


The pay for this role will range from £130 to £212 a day depending on references and experience. This is a full-time position to start as soon as possible.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
