Zest Education are working in close partnership with a well-regarded primary school close to Rednal, for a part time reception class teacher position. This will be working on a job share (0.6 contract) and will continue for the full academic year.
Your responsibilities will include implementing the EYFS curriculum with precision, maintaining high standards of teaching and learning, and maintaining a nurturing environment that inspires all children to learn and grow. The ideal candidate for this position should hold a valid QTS, possess a deep understanding of the EYFS curriculum, and exhibit a proactive and engaging teaching style. A keen eye for detail, a sense of humour, and the ability to commit to the full duration of the position are essential qualities for success in this role.
The primary school’s supportive community, along with its excellent indoor and outdoor facilities, provides an optimal setting for delivering high-quality education to young learners. Having your own transportation would be advantageous due to the school’s location. Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
