Zest Education, an esteemed and award-winning education agency, is pleased to announce an exciting job opportunity for a Reception Teaching Assistant at a lovely school in Stafford. This position is full-time and will be in place until the end of the academic year.
Located in Stafford, our partner school is renowned for its commitment to providing a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students. With a strong focus on academic excellence and holistic growth, the school prides itself on fostering a sense of community and collaboration among staff, students, and parents. The school’s leadership team is dedicated to creating a supportive and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive and reach their full potential.
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing essential support and assistance in the Reception classroom. Duties will include helping with classroom activities, supporting individual student needs, and contributing to the overall positive learning environment. The Reception Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher to implement learning strategies, assess student progress, and maintain a safe and organized classroom setting.
Requirements for Successful Candidate:
– Previous experience working in an educational setting, particularly in early years education
– A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
– Relevant qualifications in education or childcare are desirable

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
