Zest Education are currently recruiting for a Religious Education teacher, that can teach across KS3-KS4 in a large secondary school in North Birmingham, close to Sutton Coldfield. The role will be full time and is due to start as soon as possible and will continue until July, the following year.

This “Good” Ofsted rated school has a long tradition of supporting students to become confident young adults by providing them with a safe, fun and high-quality education. The school is also well located, so is easily accessible.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great passion for the subject of Religious Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • Good team ethos and enjoy being a part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Great classroom and behaviour management
  • Adaptable, patient and have creative and innovative teaching methods

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Rate will vary dependant on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
