Zest Education is looking for an enthusiastic RE Teacher to join a prestigious secondary school in Bromsgrove, Worcestershire starting from September 2024.
In this role, you will have the chance to create and deliver captivating lessons that ignite students’ interest in religious beliefs, practices, and values. By fostering critical thinking and promoting understanding of various religious traditions, you will play a pivotal role in shaping students’ perspectives and encouraging respectful dialogue within the classroom.
Key Responsibilities:
– Design and implement engaging lessons aligned with the school’s curriculum requirements
– Evaluate and track student progress, offering valuable feedback and assistance
– Stimulate active participation and discussions to encourage exploration of diverse viewpoints
– Establish an inclusive learning environment that supports students’ personal and social growth
– Collaborate with fellow educators to develop innovative teaching strategies and materials
– Maintain accurate records and contribute to school-wide evaluation processes
Requirements:
– Possession of Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification
– Expertise in Religious Education or a related field
– Proficiency in UK curriculum content and requirements
– Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships
– Capacity to motivate and engage students with diverse learning needs
– Willingness to adapt, collaborate, and contribute to the broader educational community

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
