Zest Education is presently seeking a Religious Education Teacher for a full-time position at a large secondary school in South Birmingham, near Marston Green. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching across Key Stage 3 (KS3) to Key Stage 4 (KS4) and is anticipated to commence in March 2024, continuing for the remainder of the academic year. There is the possibility that the position could become permanent for the right candidate.

The ideal candidate for the role of Religious Education Teacher will possess the following qualifications and attributes:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification leading to QTS or QTLS
  • A genuine passion for Religious Education, coupled with excellent subject knowledge spanning KS3 and KS4
  • A positive team ethos, enjoying active participation in a collaborative team environment
  • Proficiency in planning, marking, and delivering high-quality lessons
  • Strong classroom and behavior management skills
  • Adaptability, patience, and a penchant for employing creative and innovative teaching methods

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early Career Teachers (ECT) and experienced educators are equally encouraged to apply for this position.
