Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Education Teacher looking for an exciting opportunity to inspire students and contribute to an innovative educational environment? We are seeking a dynamic individual to join an innovative school located in the Solihull area on an ongoing full-time basis, starting from January 2024.  The school is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.

Position Overview:

As a Religious Education Teacher, you will play a crucial role in shaping the spiritual and moral development of our students. You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons that encourage students to explore different religious perspectives, values, and ethics. Other key responsibilities include:

Develop and deliver dynamic Religious Education lessons that cater to diverse learning styles.

Foster an inclusive and respectful classroom environment that encourages open discussion and critical thinking.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall curriculum and contribute to the school’s innovative approach to education.

Provide support and guidance to students, fostering their spiritual and moral development.

Requirements:

Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent qualification.

Proven experience teaching Religious Education at the secondary level.

Passion for fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
