Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school located in Sutton Coldfield. The school has asked us to find a Religious Education Teacher, that can teach across KS3-KS4. The role will will start in September 2023, full time, and will be for a minimum of two terms. This role will turn to a permanent role after the 2 terms for the right candidate.
This is a “Good” Ofsted rated school, that is continually trying to improve. The school’s main ethos is to encourage and support their students to become confident and bright individuals. The school is located in a popular area so is easily accessible by private or public transport.
The successful applicant will have:
- A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
- A strong passion for the subject of Religious Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
- A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
- The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
- Strong classroom and behaviour management
- Creative and innovative teaching methods, the ability to motivate students
Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.
Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
