Religious Education Teacher – Sutton

Job Description

Zest Education are currently recruiting for a Religious Education Teacher, that can teach across KS3-KS4 in a large secondary school in North Birmingham, close to Sutton Coldfield. The role will be full-time and is due to start in March 2024. This will be for the rest of the academic year, with the high potential to turn permanent for the right candidate.

The successful Religious Education Teacher will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great passion for the subject of Religious Education and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • Good team ethos and enjoy being a part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high-quality lessons
  • Great classroom and behaviour management
  • Adaptable, patient and have creative and innovative teaching methods

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

The rate of pay will vary depending on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
