School Administrator

Zest Education is recruiting organised and efficient s to join a number of friendly and supportive schools across Birmingham. This is a great opportunity for someone with strong administrative skills who enjoys working in a busy and varied school office environment.

 Role Responsibilities:

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the school office and leadership team

• Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and greet visitors in a professional and friendly manner

• Manage attendance records, input data, and produce reports using SIMS/Arbor (experience desirable)

• Support with pupil admissions, registers, and parent communications

• Handle confidential information in line with GDPR and safeguarding procedures

• Assist with ordering supplies, maintaining records, and organising paperwork

• Support with school events and general day-to-day office tasks

 Ideal Candidate:

✅ Previous experience working in a school office or administrative setting
✅ Confident using Microsoft Office and ideally SIMS, Arbor, or Bromcom
✅ Excellent communication and organisational skills
✅ Able to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
✅ Friendly, professional, and approachable manner
✅ Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
