Zest Education are looking to recruit a full time Science Teacher for a local ‘Good’ OFSTED rated school in the Coleshill area of Warwickshire. The school designs their curriculum to appropriately challenge their students throughout all key stages with the support of specialist teachers. The successful candidate would be working as part of the larger science department taking an active role in lunch time and afterschool workshops and revision sessions. The school are looking for a confident and creative Science Teacher who strives to help their students achieve the best they can whilst also being supportive and understanding.
The School itself is centrally located with plenty of onsite parking available for staff. Recent funding has allowed the school to invest in its resources, allowing for more dynamic and creative lessons. Overall students are engaged and challenged in a safe environment where they are able to develop their ideas.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Have a PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS.
- An enthusiasm for science with exceptional knowledge across KS3, KS4 and KS5
- Desire to work as part of a wider team, supporting them as and when they need
- The ability to effectively mark, plan and deliver lessons of a high quality.
- Have classroom and behaviour management experience.
