Science Teacher
Full Time | 1 Year Minimum
Lambeth | September 2025 Start
Zest Education is working in partnership with a vibrant secondary school in Lambeth, which is seeking to appoint a Science Teacher from September 2025. This is a full-time role, offered on a minimum 1-year contract, with pay in line with the Inner London MPS (M1 to M6).
This is an exciting opportunity to join a well-established, forward-thinking school that has a strong focus on academic success, personal development, and preparing students for life beyond the classroom. The school caters to pupils aged 11 to 18.
The successful candidate will be joining a Science department with excellent facilities, including well-equipped laboratories. The school has a clear focus on high-quality teaching and learning, alongside providing enrichment opportunities for all students.
The ideal candidate will:
Be a qualified Science Teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
Have experience or willingness to teach across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential)
Demonstrate strong subject knowledge and a passion for Science education
Be committed to creating engaging lessons that inspire curiosity and achievement
Be enthusiastic about contributing to the wider life of the school community

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
