Zest Education are working closely with secondary schools across Birmingham, one in the Aston area, is currently in need of a Science teacher that can teach across KS3 – KS4. The role will start after October half term and will be until at least Easter.

They are a fast paced, high achieving, secondary school looking to maintain their good reputation. The school are passionate about making sure that all students get a good education giving them the best start possible to adult life. It is based very well for both public and private transport.

The successful candidate must be reliable, resilient and have a good work ethic. Building relationships is key to the role as the school believes that this will help get the best out of the young adults being taught here. A strong knowledge of the subject is needed with creative ideas in how to teach and get across to the pupils.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A great team member willing to support all in the school.
  • A strong passion for the subject of science and experience of teaching Science across KS3-KS4.
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management
  • Strong at building and maintaining relationships with students and colleagues.

Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
