We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Science Teacher to join a secondary school located in the heart of Birmingham City Centre. This is a full-time position starting as soon as possible, with working hours from 8am to 4pm.
Responsibilities:
– Delivering high-quality science lessons to students in accordance with the curriculum
– Planning and preparing engaging and effective lesson plans
– Assessing and marking student work, providing constructive feedback
– Creating a positive learning environment that encourages students’ curiosity and interest in science
– Collaborating with colleagues to develop and improve the science curriculum
– Participating in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
– Experience teaching science at the secondary school level preferred
– Strong knowledge and understanding of the science curriculum
– Excellent communication and organizational skills
– Ability to inspire and motivate students
– Commitment to continuous professional development

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
