Zest Education
Zest Education is seeking a dynamic and engaging Science Teacher to join a successful secondary school in the Coventry area on a full-time basis. This position is available immediately and is expected to continue until the end of the academic year.
The ideal candidate for this position would be passionate about science and have a strong ability to engage students in the subject matter. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering high-quality lessons, assessing student progress, and fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver engaging lessons to KS4 students in both beginner and advanced science
– Conduct effective planning and marking
– Provide constructive feedback to students
– Create a positive learning environment for all pupils
Requirements:
– PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification with QTS or QTLS
– Passion for Science subjects and the ability to deliver high-quality lessons
– In-depth understanding of the KS3 to KS5 curriculum
– Strong teamwork skills and the ability to build professional relationships with colleagues and students
– Previous experience in classroom and behavior management

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
