Zest Education are working closely with a secondary school in Sutton Coldfield who are looking for a science teacher to join their expanding team.

The school rated ‘Good’ in its latest OFSTED report is part of a multi-academy trust with experienced staff that are knowledgeable and skilled. Pupils have access to a broad and wide-ranging curriculum while being supported in a structured, kind, and caring environment. Pupils have access to lots of extra-curricular opportunities as the school place great emphasis on their personal development.

This role starts in September 2022 on a part-time basis for one academic term with the potential to be extended. The science department are looking for someone who has a strong passion and knowledge for the subject of science (Physics is essential) and is able to teach the curriculum from KS3-KS5.


The successful candidate must have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS
  • A great team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Excellent classroom and behaviour management



Rate of pay varies dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.
