Well, here at Zest we are looking for reliable, hardworking and passionate Science teacher to join us to work in a well established secondary school in the Halesowen area. This role is full time position and is to due to start in January 2022.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and have a good working knowledge of the Science curriculum in particular Physics, however you will be required to teacher both Biology and Chemistry. It is also essential that you have experience working with both KS3 and KS4. Planning and marking will also be involved, along with all relevant meetings. We welcome applications from NQT/ECT’s and experienced teachers alike.

The day to day duties will include; planning, delivering and marking all work, managing classroom behaviour, adhering to the schools policies and procedures. Responding to any questions that pupils, parents or caregivers may have. Attending department and whole school meetings when required to do so.

The Science department is well established and prides themselves on all that they do, in particular the grades their students receive throughout both key stages. It is therefore extremely important that you are able to fit seamlessly into the school and you are able to follow the way that they run the department.

Daily rates are between £131 and £198 per day (PAYE), subject to experience and qualifications.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
