Science Teacher – Tyseley

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher to join a diverse educational community in the Tyseley area. This is a full-time position available until the end of the academic year, with the potential for extension. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in inspiring and educating students in the field of science and supporting the school in their commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive learning environment that encourages creativity, critical thinking, and a love for learning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and effective science lessons to students at various levels.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and critical thinking.
• Use innovative teaching methods to make complex scientific concepts accessible and interesting to students.
• Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification.
• Proven experience teaching science at Secondary School level.
• Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and current educational trends in science.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
