Job Description

Zest Education are working closely with secondary schools across Birmingham and have an extremely high demand for General Supply Teachers. We require a range of roles including day to day cover, short or long-term placements. If you would prefer day-to-day or short term cover, there will be no marking or planning involved – sound too good to be true?

It is essential that you are adaptable and resourceful with experience teaching across KS3 and KS4; being able to deliver high quality lessons from planning which will be provided to you. Being able to make good, professional relationships with both staff and pupils will be key within this role. Excellent classroom and behaviour management is desirable. You must also hold the highest regard to the safeguarding and well-being of all children.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
