We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work with children who have severe Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) in Hounslow. This is a temporary supply position, offering flexibility in terms of working days which can vary depending on your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
– Supporting children with severe ASD in their educational and personal development
– Implementing individualized learning plans and behavioural strategies
– Collaborating with teachers and therapists to create a supportive learning environment
– Providing a safe and nurturing space for children to thrive
Requirements:
– Previous experience working with children who have ASD is essential
– Strong understanding of the challenges and needs of children with severe ASD
– Ability to be flexible and adaptable in a dynamic educational setting
– Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
