Zest Education is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Teacher to join our outstanding SEND school based in Tamworth. Our school, rated Outstanding by Ofsted, is beloved by all staff and students alike. We are looking for a dedicated individual who is passionate about helping people with special educational needs.
Ideal candidates will have a teaching qualification and experience in either SEND settings or care settings. Familiarity with supporting children with Autism and similar needs is essential for this role. The successful candidate will be placed within a classroom that focuses on aiding children with these specific needs.
Position Details:
– Days: Monday to Friday
– Hours: 8:30am to 3:30pm
– Full-time position
Key Responsibilities:
– Teaching children according to their educational level
– Reviewing care plans
– Completing assessments
– Occasionally creating lesson plans

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
