Zest Education are recruiting a SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child who requires additional learning support at a well-established primary school in Handsworth.
Key Responsibilities:
Support a child with SEND on a 1:1 basis throughout the school day
Encourage positive behaviour and engagement in learning
Collaborate with teaching staff and external professionals
Provide tailored academic and emotional support
Requirements:
Experience working with SEND pupils (particularly autism or speech and language needs)
Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (advantageous)
Kind, calm, and consistent approach
Commitment to supporting inclusion in education
