SEND Teaching Assistant (1:1 SEND)

Zest Education are recruiting a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a pupil at a primary school in Minworth. This is a rewarding opportunity to support a child’s learning and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide tailored 1:1 support for a pupil with SEND

• Help deliver personalised learning activities

• Encourage positive behaviour and engagement

• Support the pupil during lessons, transitions and playtimes

• Work collaboratively with teachers and the SENDCo

Requirements:

• Previous experience in SEND support

• Kindness, resilience and empathy

• Ability to follow structured support strategies

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
