We are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Tyseley. This part-time position (3 days per week) begins in November 2025 and offers a rewarding opportunity to make a real difference in children’s academic and personal development.
Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND during lessons and daily activities
Assist teachers in delivering and adapting lessons to meet individual needs
Support the implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and behaviour strategies
Create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment
Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure each child achieves their full potential
Proven experience working as a SEND Teaching Assistant or in a similar support role
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with diverse learning needs
Relevant qualifications in education, child development, or SEND support (preferred)
