Zest Education is currently seeking a dedicated and passionate part-time SEND Teaching Assistant to work at a mainstream primary school located just outside of Tamworth.
This role is specifically tailored for a child transitioning from an alternative provision and will involve working on a part-time timetable. You will be required to work 3 days a week, some which will be mornings and others afternoons. The role is due to start on the afternoon of the 11th March.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience in supporting children with attachment issues and Autism. However, the school’s SENDCo is open to discussing the child’s individual needs with potential candidates. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a child’s educational journey and provide essential support during this critical period of transition.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
