Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with high needs? Zest Education, an award-winning agency in the Midlands, is currently seeking a dedicated specialist teaching assistant to join a fantastic team in Kings Heath on a full-time, long-term basis.
The ideal candidate will need to hold an NVQ Level 3 qualification or above in a relevant childcare field and have prior experience working with children with diverse learning requirements. We are looking for someone who is not only reliable and compassionate but also possesses a deep understanding of the national curriculum and the significance of teaching life skills from an early age.
As a specialist TA, you will play a crucial role in supporting a child on a 1-1 basis both in and out of the classroom, fostering a positive and trusting relationship while assisting with daily school activities and personal care. Collaboration with school leadership, teachers, and parents/carers will be key in ensuring the child’s holistic and educational development.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
